I AM A MOM; I WILL DO WHAT I GOT TO DO

To every mom doing everything, every single day — this one’s for you.

“Run, run, run, it’s getting late. Did you put your lunch box in your backpack? Did you put your homework in your folder? Don’t forget to submit your homework. Look at your hair — will you ever comb it before school! Oh come on, your breakfast is still not finished. Looks like you’ll be tardy again” …

And it goes on and on. Every morning. Every day. Every mom knows exactly what I’m talking about.

Celebrating moms everywhere

So stop. Break. Breathe. Take a chill pill.

We know, we all know, each moment that goes by doesn’t come back. Life is not only about milestones but experiences. Instead of saying “Yet another day” when you wake up, try saying “Thank you for one more day.” Don’t rush. Stay grounded. Enjoy your morning with your kids and family.

We should all learn from our kids — especially us moms. They live by the moment. We get so sucked into daily chores and duties that we forget we have a life. We don’t have to be perfect. It’s ok to be a little wild. It’s ok to have fun.

Taking care of yourself is as essential as taking care of your kids.

Let’s all take a moment and ask ourselves: Are we leading a lifestyle by our own design?

I AM A MOM. I will do what I got to do — and I will do it with joy. 🧡
